The OkadaMotto mobile app was officially launched today at the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) Conference room, marking a significant milestone in the country’s ride-hailing industry. The event brought together key stakeholders, including government officials, industry players, and influential personalities.

Hon. Ras Mubarak, Founding Partner of OkadaMotto, delivered a passionate speech emphasizing the importance of road safety. He urged riders to adhere to traffic rules and regulations, stressing that safety should be their top priority.

The AMA Mayor, in his remarks, called for discipline among riders, highlighting the need for them to operate responsibly and respect traffic laws. He expressed optimism that the OkadaMotto app would contribute to a more organized and safer ride-hailing ecosystem.

Osman Ayariga, CEO of the Youth Authority, announced his organization’s willingness to train as many Okada riders as possible, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their profession. This initiative aims to promote professionalism and safety within the industry.

Other notable attendees included former Black Stars football player Majeed Waris, representatives from Airtel Tigo, and Yango. Their presence underscored the growing interest in the ride-hailing sector and the potential for collaboration and innovation.
