The Central East Regional Police Command has announced plans to conduct an identification parade as part of ongoing investigations into recent robbery incidents in the region.
In a statement released on Friday, the command is calling on members of the public who may have fallen victim to robbery within the enclave to report to the Regional Police Headquarters in Kasoa to participate in the process.
According to the Head of Public Affairs for the Region, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Victor Kofi Dosoo, adequate security measures have been instituted to ensure the safety of both the suspects in custody and the victims who turn up for the exercise.
The police are urging affected individuals to cooperate fully to aid in the identification and prosecution of perpetrators of such crimes.
The move forms part of the Police Service’s efforts to strengthen public confidence, ensure justice for victims, and maintain law and order in the region.
